While throwing light on the achievements, director of the institute Father Benni Ekka said: “The motto of the institute is ‘Putting the last first’ in terms of academics and development. Our campus recruitment this year has been quite satisfactory with almost cent per cent placement.”

The director said 17 young faculty members had been recuited in the last semester in a bid to make the institute “a centre of excellence”. He further added: “With the introduction of e-library, e-journals and wi-fi system, our institute now has an ‘e-management’. We have also provided laptops to our faculty members.”

Amrita Singh, a topper in peronnel management, who got recruited in Tata Consultancy Services, said: “The institute has undergone a sea change in these years. We have excellent faculty members who are quite helpful. With more and more companies coming for placement, the institute is bound to excel.”

However, Priyanka Singh, a student of finance, who bagged a job in Satyam Computers in Secundrabad felt that syllabus needed to be updated and curriculum overhauled. Besides, more books should be acquired for the library.”
