Kill cuffs on maid

New Delhi, May 20 (PTI): A maid from North 24-Parganas has been held for killing her employer in Delhi.

Malati Mandal said she strangled Archana Grover, 40, in her Saket house on Wednesday as she used to scold her for talking to boys. Malati, who went missing after the murder, was picked up from her village.

Calcutta: Riki Dey, 12, was run over by a two-wheeler on BT Road on Sunday night. He was crossing the road with his father at Cossipore.

A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were injured when a Tata Indica hit them from behind on EM Bypass.

Teesta death

Siliguri: The body of Mehul Desai from Calcutta has been found in the Teesta. He went missing after a jeep fell into the river on the way to Gangtok on May 15. His wife Mridula was injured.
