Imphal, May 11: Yaiskul Athletics Club drubbed Dimapur Road Athletics Organisation 4-1 on the opening day of the Nungshirabi Leikol and Aircel futsal meet at Imphal Polo ground today.

In another match, Kangchup Road Youth Physical and Sporting Association got the better of Manipur Brothers Sporting Union 6-3.

The futsal game, considered for skill and speed with five men a side, saw Yaiskul Athletic Club today beat the Dimapur Road team on a slippery field.

For Yaiskul, Nanao scored two goals while Premkumar and Lukhoi contributed with a goal each. The lone goal for Dimapur Road was scored by I. Sanatomba.

In the other match, Kanchup Road overcame Manipur Brothers by three goals with Kh. Boicha netting two goals while L. Ramananda, S. Bhogen, I. Nilachandra and S. Kishan picked up one each for the win. For Kanchup Road, Biswajit scored two goals while Surchand netted one.
