Dibrugarh, May 3: Ilahi Sheikh, who had been involved in drug peddling for around two decades, today surrendered before the additional chief judicial magistrate’s court in this district headquarters town. He was immediately sent to the Dibrugarh central jail.

Dibrugarh superintendent V.K. Ramisetti said police were continuously searching for the druglord and this could have put pressure on him to surrender.
