Tata Power buy

Tata Power Company Ltd has acquired Coastal Gujarat Power Ltd, a special purpose vehicle formed for the 4,000-mw Mundhra power project. The official agreement was signed between Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and Tata Power under the guidelines of the power ministry. Tata Power has provided a Rs 300-crore performance bank guarantee to PFC.

Uma issue

Uma Precision Ltd has filed a draft red herring prospectus with Sebi for its initial public offering of 40,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a premium. The 100 per cent book-built issue includes an employee reservation of 100,000 shares.
