Uma split

Los Angeles, March 20 (AP): Actress Uma Thurman and hotelier Andre Balazs have split up.

Thurman’s New York-based publicist Robert Garlock confirmed the couple, together on and off for three years, are no longer an item.

“I confirm that they are no longer a couple,” Garlock said yesterday, adding that was all the two wanted to divulge.

Thurman, an Oscar-nominated actress who starred in Pulp Fiction and two Kill Bill movies was once married to actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke.

Los Angeles (AP): Actress Vanessa Williams on Monday received the 2,331st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Although she plays a villainous magazine editor on the TV show Ugly Betty supportive actors showed up to cheer for Williams at a ceremony.
