JCT beat HASC 3-0

Bangalore: JCT Mills, Phagwara, blanked local outfit Hindustan Aeronautics Sports Club (HASC) 3-0 in a one-sided eighth round match of the National Football League for the ONGC Cup here on Monday.

The 19-year-old Chidi Edeh made the most of a pass from forward Sunil Chhetri in the 16th minute to put his team ahead, while Chhetri headed home to buttress the lead within two minutes.

In the dying seconds of the match — 90th minute to be precise — JCT dealt the final blow as the Nigerian duo combined with Chidi heading home from an Adebayo free-kick. (PTI)
