NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY (NIFT)

SUBJECT: NIFT has extended its application dates for the bachelors of fashion technology (BFTech) and the masters in fashion technology (MFTech) courses. Admission forms are available till February 17 and the admission test will be held on April 1. Candidates who clear the written test will be invited for a situation test (for the design programme), the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), a group discussion and a personal interview.

ELIGIBILITY: For the bachelors courses, a candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board of education or the Senior Secondary Examination of the National Open School with at least five subjects. For the masters courses, you have to be a graduate or have a diploma from NIFT, except for the course in apparel production for which you need an engineering degree.

PARTICULARS: The prospectus can be obtained from all the UTI Bank branches across the country on the payment of Rs 1,200 (Rs 600 in case of SC/ST/PHP) and by post on sending a demand draft worth Rs 1,400 (Rs 800 in case of SC/ST/PHP) drawn in favour of NIFT, to any of its campuses.
