Trouble at conclave
Kokrajhar, Jan. 9
: About 500 former members of the Bodo Liberation Tigers tried to disrupt a conclave of the Baksa district committee of the All Bodo Students’ Union at Rupahi today. The delegates, however, foiled the attempt. bsu leaders said it was a desperate attempt by the former militant cadre to “capture” the new democratically elected committee.
