Jammu, Jan. 9: The army will take action against Lt Gen. S.K. Dahiya and four other officers for their involvement in the frozen meat contract scam.

The officers have been indicted by a court of inquiry that looked into irregularities in the contract in Ladakh.

Lt Gen. Dahiya was major general (army supply corps) of the Northern Command when the deal was signed. The court of inquiry, according to defence spokesperson S.D. Goswami, has finalised its findings and indicted Lt Gen. Dahiya and the four officers, whose ranks were not mentioned.
