Teledata to invest in eSys

Teledata Informatics will invest Rs 463 crore in Singapore-based eSys Technologies. The company has signed an agreement with eSys for a strategic investment of up to Rs 463 crore in eSys Technologies. This strategic investment will help eSys continue and consolidate its growth. The new capital from Teledata will also help eSys further its business through the acquisition mode.

ICI Paints

ICI Paints has launched Dulux Light And Space paint, which, the company claims, can reflect twice as much light back into a room than other paints. The company has also launched ColourFutures 2007, a colour communication tool for architects and international designers.

Dopod entry

Dopod International, a PDA phone and smartphone provider, has entered India. The Indian arm of the company, Dopod Communication (India), has launched three handsets, 818Pro, C800 and C720W.

Toyota Camry

Toyota Camry has been judged the best-designed car of the year on Indian roads by Top Gear, an automobile publication. Toyota Kirloskar Motor had launched the sixth generation Camry in March.

ASUS plan

IT firm ASUS plans to expand its presence in the country and shift to a larger office in Mumbai in the first quarter of 2007. The company will invest Rs 10 crore in the first phase of the expansion plan.

Shah Auto

Shah Automobiles has opened a showroom in New Town. The company sells Hindustan Motors products.

Birla Sun

Birla Sun Life Insurance has launched its rural operations from the Hindalco unit at Renukoot.
