WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (WBUT), CALCUTTA

Last date for submission of completed application forms: November 22, 2006; November 29 (with fine).

SUBJECT: JEMAT 2007, the state-level entrance test for admission to MBA 2007 course to be held by the WBUT on December 24, 2006.

ELIGIBILITY: Bachelors degree in arts/ science/ commerce/ engineering/ technology/ medical/ dental/ agriculture or other professional courses from recognised universities. The candidates who will appear in final exams (graduation) to be held by June 2007 and results published by September 2007 may also apply.

PARTICULARS: The application form should preferably be submitted online (www.jemat.org). Alternatively, the form can be downloaded and the filled in form can be submitted to the university office.

In both these modes, a demand draft for Rs 700 or Rs 350 for SC/ST (without fine) and Rs 900 or Rs 450 for SC/ST (with late fine) as exam fees in favour of WBUT JEMAT payable in Calcutta, and two copies of passport size photographs, with the candidate’s signature and the demand draft number on the reverse side, should be submitted to the university office at BF-142, Sector I, Salt Lake City, Calcutta 700064. SUBJECT: Applications invited for its two-year full-time postgraduate diploma in business administration (PGDBA 2007-2009).

ELIGIBILITY: Graduation with a minimum of 50 per cent marks from any Indian university recognised by AIU/ AICTE. Those appearing for final-year exams by April-May 2007 can also apply. Candidates should appear for CAT to be held on November 19, 2006.
