Trent net up 40%

Tata group company Trent Ltd’s net profit for the quarter ended September 30 rose 39.8 per cent to Rs 8.02 crore from Rs 5.74 crore a year ago. Total income grew 38.96 per cent to Rs 1.24 crore from Rs 89.69 lakh in the same period of the previous fiscal. The company’s income from retail operations increased 41 per cent to Rs 120.51 crore from Rs 85.61 crore a year ago.

Godrej profit

Godrej Consumer Ltd’s profit after tax rose 11 per cent in the second quarter to Rs 31 crore from Rs 27.8 crore a year ago. Profit before tax rose 25 per cent to Rs 36.8 crore from Rs 29.5 crore. The company’s consolidated sales revenue increased 48 per cent to Rs 232 crore from Rs 157 crore.

Aptech

Aptech Ltd’s net profit for the quarter ended September 30 was Rs 10.66 crore against a net loss of Rs 85 lakh a year ago. The company’s operating profit for the quarter stood at Rs 15.93 crore compared with Rs 6.09 crore.

Usha PAT

Usha International Ltd’s profit after tax for the half year ended September 30 was Rs 4.6 crore compared with Rs 2.37 crore a year ago. Gross profit was Rs 8.53 crore against Rs 5.28 crore in the last fiscal. Total turnover for the period has gone up to Rs 312.5 crore from Rs 255.5 crore a year ago.

Cummins India

Cummins India Ltd’s profit before tax in the second quarter of this fiscal was Rs 88.6 crore against Rs 55.3 crore a year ago. Net sales for the quarter rose 31 per cent to Rs 467.4 crore from Rs 357.3 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.

Alps Ind

Alps Industries Ltd net profit in the second quarter of this fiscal rose to Rs 8.39 crore from Rs 4.85 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Net sales was Rs 112.85 crore against Rs 56.81 crore a year ago. The company’s net profit for the first six months of the fiscal was Rs 15.51 crore against Rs 9.36 crore a year ago.

Srei Infra

Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd’s net profit for the half year ended September 30 was Rs 29.83 crore against Rs 19.52 crore a year ago. Operating profit rose to Rs 57.41 crore from Rs 30.18 crore. Total income was Rs 181.43 crore compared with Rs 83.39 crore a year ago.

RSWM

RSWM Ltd’s net profit for the first half of this fiscal was Rs 12.5 crore. Net revenues were Rs 475.1 crore against Rs 423.5 crore a year ago. EBIDT was higher by 28.9 per cent to Rs 50.7 crore from Rs 39.3 crore. Profit before tax was up 93.5 per cent to Rs 18.4 crore from Rs 9.5 crore a year before.

Indoco

Indoco Remedies Ltd's net profit was Rs 8.2 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal, compared with Rs 6.4 crore a year ago.
