Oct. 23 (PTI): India Cements Ltd today posted a whopping increase in net profit to Rs 117.32 crore for the quarter ended September 30 from Rs 5.85 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.

The total income (net of excise) increased 31.82 per cent to Rs 517.18 crore for the quarter from Rs 392.32 crore a year ago.

IBP loss

IBP Company Ltd has suffered a net loss of Rs 166.68 crore in the quarter ended September 30 compared with a net loss of Rs 190.53 crore a year ago.

The total income increased 27.72 per cent to Rs 4,561.32 crore in the quarter from Rs 3,571.28 crore a year ago, IBP informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Alstom profit

Alstom Projects India’s net profit increased over two folds to Rs 31.3 crore for the quarter ended September 30 from Rs 11.5 crore for the same quarter last year.

Total income increased 20.14 per cent to Rs 277.9 crore for the quarter from Rs 231.3 crore a year ago.

Sona Koyo

Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd’s net profit rose 68.70 per cent to Rs 6.36 crore in the quarter ended September 30 from Rs 3.77 crore a year ago.
