Rohan shines as East falter
- Sourav falls for 16 JP Yadav picks 5

Calcutta: Sourav Ganguly’s hopes of making an impression on the national selectors received another setback when he was dismissed for only 16 against Central Zone on Day I of the Duleep Trophy match on Thursday. East Zone were ultimately bundled out for 245. According to information received here, Central were 40 for three at stumps.

Former Bengal captain Rohan Gavaskar held centrestage with 106. Rohan was the only player to cross the 50-run mark. Veteran Debasish Mohanty gave him support with an unbeaten 45.
