ELIGIBILITY: A bachelors degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 system from a university recognised by AIU/AICTE securing a minimum 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing in the graduation final exams are also eligible to apply, provided they complete all the requirements for obtaining bachelors degree by June 30, 2007 and furnish proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2007.

PARTICULARS: CAT scores are used to shortlist candidates. JIM information brochure containing the application form can be obtained from the institutes and select centres of IMS on cash payment of Rs 1,000 or by sending a demand draft for Rs 1,050 favouring Jaipuria Institute of Management, payable at Lucknow or Noida or Jaipur. SUBJECT: An entrance test is to be conducted in Calcutta and Guwahati (in eastern India) along with a GD and interview in TISS for admission to the MA in human resource management and labour relations course 2007-09.

ELIGIBILITY: A bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with minimum aggregate marks of 50 per cent (40 per cent for SC/ST) or equivalent grade from a recognised university. Those candidates who complete their final year bachelors degree exams by June 23, 2007 will also be eligible to apply, provided they have obtained the required minimum percentage of marks specified under the eligibility requirements.

PARTICULARS: Application forms and information brochure can be procured on payment of Rs 750 by cash in person or by demand draft (in favour of Registrar, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, payable at Mumbai) by post at V.N. Purav Marg, Deonar, Mumbai 400088. Application forms will be available at the cash counter at TISS from Monday to Friday (10.30 am to 4.30 pm) and on Saturday (10.30 am to 1.00 pm), except on public holidays. Requests may be sent to the Deputy Registrar (General Administration), TISS, along with a demand draft of requisite amount and a self-addressed cloth-lined envelope (20cmX28cm). Forms can also be downloaded from the website, www.tiss.edu, to be submitted along with a demand draft or the requisite amount. Free forms will be issued to those SC/ST candidates who are unemployed and whose parents or guardian’s income was Rs 1,00,000 or below in 2005-06. Such candidates need to submit (i) a true copy of Caste/Tribe certificate; (ii) Income certificate of their parents/ guardians; (iii) a self-addressed cloth-lined envelope (20cmX28cm) along with a request letter addressed to the Deputy Registrar (General Administration) of the institute. They may also download the form from the website and submit them along with a copy of the Caste/ Tribe and Income Certificate to the Deputy Registrar (Gen Admn.) of the institute.
