I would love to attend, after all my ancestors hail from Dariyala Jahlib, 30 km from Jhelumand Rawalpindi. Also, I love the way people speak Punjabi in Pakistan. It is just like my grandmother and mum...a kind of Pindi-esque London version of Punjabi, quite different from the one spoken in India.

Of course, she should attend. Both countries are inextricably linked and the more cultural and political connections, the better.
