Americana

(Seagull Bookstore, 6 pm, till September 25)The Seagull Foundation for the Arts presents the festival of films on America. Roger & Me is on September 18; Wal Mart: The High Cost of Low Price will be shown the following day. The Corporation is slated for September 20 and The Road to Guantanamo on September 21. Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room will be screened on September 22 and Hearts & Minds on September 25.

Selected Stories

(Oxford Bookstore, 6.30 pm, September 18) The Penguin publication, Selected Stories by Parashuram, translated from Bengali by Sukanta Chaudhuri and Palash Baran Pal, will be launched with dramatised readings from the book. the play

Intro
