According to information received, the unseeded Indian will meet fourth seed Lourdes Dominguez Lino of Spain, who defeated Iveta Benesova of Czech Republic’s 6-1, 5-7, 6-2.

In other first round matches, Russia’s Elena Vesnina shocked the top seed Lucie Safarova of Czech Republic 6-4, 6-4, while Martina Sucha of Slovakia upset third seed Sybille Bammer of Austria 2-6, 6-1, 7-5.
