Guwahati, Aug. 10: The Mohan Chandra Das and Sarala Bala Das inter-club, inter-institution and open table tennis championships got under way at Abita Indoor Stadium here today.

Over 100 paddlers are participating in the open category and 10 clubs are competing in the inter-club event, organised by the Guwahati Sports Association. As many as nine boys’ teams and four girls’ teams are in the fray.
