Randeep Hooda is trying to show that he’s come out unscathed from the heartburn left behind by now ex-girlfriend Sushmita Sen. She has left him and moved on to another man’s arms. And when he created a scene at Sush’s house and still had la damme turn a deaf ear, he got determined to show that he’s moved on, too. But in a bid to make it known that he couldn’t care less, he is overdoing this who-cares act. He’s partying hard and flirting even harder. And in one such party he came across Tabu and got hooked. Tabu was there with a few friends to have fun and was visibly annoyed by all the attention showered on her by Randeep. Moreso coz she knows Randeep to be Sush’s boyfriend and had a good mind to let her ‘Filhaal’ friend all about this. She soon came to know that Randeep was ‘past’ in Sush’s life and the present attention was more than just passing. Tabu was bombarded with SMSes and finally Tabu had to give in to the persistent suitor. She even agreed to a rendezvous. Now what will Sush say about this episode in her autobiography — The Butterfly — we wonder!

Sometime back when Sunjay Dutt gave a party for the cast and crew of his films, Zahir and Woodstock Villa, guess who played host? It was Nadira, yes, his girlfriend. And she is very much with Sunjay contrary to the rumour that he had moved past her. They were even seen going for the film, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, at a multiplex together.

Will she, won’t she? Will Katrina Kaif take what Mallika Sherawat has rejected? Mallika was offered an item number in Chiranjeevi’s Stalin which will be directed by Murugadoss. But Mallika has turned down the offer. The director has now approached Kats to do this item number and he is keen on getting a nod from her. Since Kats has done a few South films during the early part of her career she definitely knows what a Chiranjeevi-Murugadoss film really means there.

One, two, open your mouth...

Trust Sonu Niigaam to spring surprises ever so often. If those extra ‘i’s and ‘a’s were not enough, nowadays he is sporting a shaggy dog look with a rocking bearded face and an unruly mop of hair covering his forehead.

Amid the Himesh Reshammiya musical sweep this talented singer could still hold his own with the songs of Fanaa and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.

But this restless artiste is hardly satisfied doing just that. His acting stint left him with two flop films but he’s not one to back off. He admits being an average actor, but nevertheless is willing to wait for the right time and the right role. We have seen him as anchor, as celebrity judge for television shows. Now we’ll hear Sonu Niigaam, the radio jockey. Yes, he is quite confident that he’ll play this newfound role very well.

So what next? Well, believe it or not he is keen on politics. The corrupt politicians actually persuaded him to think on those lines. He now believes that the only way to salvage the country is by taking an active part in it and not wait for someone else to do it. Sing, and salvage, dear!
