Rohan, Prem in title clash

Qualifier Abhinansu Borthakur of Assam scalped seventh-seeded statemate Madhurjya Dutta to reach the boys? under-12 final of the Vision Search-AITA Talent Series meet at Calcutta Gymkhana on Thursday. Abhinansu will face Orissa boy Ansu Kumar Bhuyan, the second seed who defeated No. 3 V.R. Abilash Kesav of Delhi.

The boys? under-16 final will feature local boys Rohan Ray and Prem Singh. Top seed Rohan beat Orissa?s Bhanu Prakash, while No. 3 Prem ousted statemate and second seed Aritra Chowdhury.

Kaviguru Rally

The ninth Kaviguru Rally for two and four-wheelers will be held on August 5 and 6. Fifty competitors will cover a distance of 250km between Calcutta and Shantiniketan.
