Chola declares dividend

Cholamandalam DBS Finance Ltd has approved a dividend of Rs 5 per share of Rs 10. The company has registered a dip in profit in the April-June period of the current fiscal. Profit before tax during the period was Rs 5.52 crore against Rs 11.52 crore in the corresponding period last year, company managing director Atul Pande said in a release. Revenues during the period was Rs 61 crore. Cholamandalam has opened six personal finance branches at Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore, and increased its focus on used vehicles, under the vehicle finance sector.

Sasken Comm

Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd's consolidated revenues were Rs 91.12 crore in the quarter ended June 30, compared with Rs 67.74 crore in the same period previous year, registering a growth of 35 per cent. Profit after tax grew 81 per cent to Rs 8.65 crore from Rs 4.77 crore a year ago.

SKF net

SKF India's net profit for the quarter ended June 30 was Rs 25.3 crore against Rs 19.6 crore in the year-ago period. Profit before tax was Rs 38.6 crore compared with 30.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Net sales rose to Rs 327.9 crore from Rs 1,777 crore.

Simplex Infrastructures has bagged a project worth Rs 171 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd to double the track on the Gooty-Pullampet section of South Central Railway in Andhra Pradesh.
