New Delhi: Saina Nehwal was eliminated in the girls’ singles third round of the Asian Junior Badminton Championships in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.
According to information received here, the second-seeded Indian went down to Chinese Wen Cheng 16-21, 21-19, 10-21.
Ruth Misha and Gayatri Vartak also lost their third-round girls’ singles matches. In doubles, Misha and Nischita were beaten.
Akshay Dewalkar lost in the third round of boys’ singles. In doubles, he and Jishnu Sanyal bowed out. (PTI)
