Law and behold!

Salman Khan: Bashing up photographers, assaulting the press, roughing up fans, threatening costars, physically abusing directors, flirting with the mafia and of course his near-fatal attraction to the bad-boy loving PYTs, he has done it all. Killing black bucks and running his car over sleeping pedestrians apart. The most volatile actor in Bollywood. His tryst with the law is a long long story.

Sunjay Dutt: Salman’s next of kin in hot-headedness, though Salman’s predecessor. Apart from drugs and keeping firearms and his alleged involvement in the bomb blast in 1993 case he is also known for his temper. Recently outside a disco, attending Salman’s Marigold party, he roughed up some drunk fans who tried to take his photograph with their mobile phones in spite of his repeatedly saying a ‘no’. Bitter words were exchanged and a few injuries. Deadly Dutt’s been in trouble for polite conversations with the underworld and for even beating up autorickshaw drivers who dared to overtake his vehicle at night during his heyday.

Abhishek Bachchan: Well, Amitabh Bachchan’s son did show a little brashness during the early years of his career. Abhishek Bachchan had smashed a photojournalist’s camera while shooting in New Delhi for Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai. This spat was apparently in defence of the producer’s sister when a fight erupted during the shooting on Delhi streets. A case was filed and later withdrawn when the courteous Bachchan Sr compensated and sent money to the photographer to buy new equipment.

Saif Ali Khan: Salman’s comrade-in-arms in the black buck killing case, Saif has also not been without his share of contro-versies.Once he and his ex-wife Amrita Singh showed a thing or two to female journalist Kanan Divecha. They bashed her up after Divecha wrote an interview with Amrita Singh where she discussed her affair with Amitabh Bachchan.Gay activist and journo Ashok Row Kavi had also accused Saif of beating him up for comments that he made on TV.

Puru Raajkumar: Son of Raaj Kumar, under influence of liquor, ran his vehicle over six people. His father who was in New Delhi called up the Mumbai police and got his son out on bail in no time. Raaj Kumar himself had been arrested for allegedly killing a man who teased him with Nargis during the shooting of his film, Mother India. Mehboob Khan had acquired special permission to let Raaj Kumar shoot for his film.

Aditya Panscholi: A non-star son in Bollywood but quite famous for breaking the law. He has been arrested for rash and drunk driving. His car knocked down two police personnel on a motorbike when he was under influence. The actor had earlier been arrested for slapping a constable in 1996. His earlier girlfriend, Pooja Bedi, yelled from the rooftop that even as he was having an affair with her, he had raped her maid. He was also accused by Anil Kapoor for threatening him once. Panscholi admitted that he had given threatening calls to Kapoor to prevent him from acting in Subhash Ghai's film Trimurti as he wanted to do that role.

Fardeen Khan: He was nabbed for purchasing cocaine and sniffing coke. But his father Feroz Khan is more famous for his attitude. Recently in Pakistan he hurled misplaced insults and abuses at an anchor, and went on to make snide remarks at the Pakistanm government. It embarrassed the Indians present in the show, nearly deteriorating into an Indo-Pak diplomatic issue.
