The curriculum and teaching method of the postgraduate diploma in event management and public relations at Event Management Development Institute (EMDI) is recognised and supported by the Public Relations Council of India. EMDI is also a member of the Event Management Association of India.

More than 70 per cent of the faculty is drawn from the event management industry and most classroom lectures are based on experiences and case studies, with adequate examples thrown in, allowing students to virtually ?be? at these events and promotions.

A large part of the focus is on ?on-event? experiences for the students. This allows the classroom sessions to be transformed into practical training. For strengthening the classroom teaching and on-event experience, there are fully-equipped computer laboratories and a well-designed library.

Since students get an opportunity to interact with the public relations and event management industry, the EMDI diploma holders have a high percentage of job offers coming their way.

Apart from the postgraduate diploma in event management and public relations, the institute also conducts a postgraduate diploma in event management (PGDEM) and a diploma in event management.

Admission forms along with the prospectus is available for Rs 500 from April 3 onwards in the respective centres between 10 am and 7 pm from Monday to Saturday. The admission forms can also be downloaded from the website, http://emdiworld.com.

Outstation students can fill the necessary details and post it along with a demand draft or cheque for Rs 500 to the nearest branch of EMDI.
