Sangeetotsav 2006 by Kalamandalam, at Sarat Sadan, 6 pm. Barasat Anushilanee will present Chhut, directed by Ramaprasad Banik, at Madhusudan Mancha, 6.30 pm. Renaissance will present Ummeed, directed by Aloke Chakrovorty, at Sisir Mancha, 6.30 pm.

Workshop

Odissi dance workshop by Aloka Kanungo at Sangeetangan, 50 B, Haldarpara Road, 11 am to 8 pm. Kriya Learn Smart workshop for kids at Ocio, 5, Belvedere Road, 10 am to noon. Workshop on Thang Ta, martial arts of Manipur, with Imocha Singh, at Paschim Banga Rajya Sangeet Akademi, from 9.30 am.

Launch

Andhar Aloye, a collection of Tagore songs by Sharmila Mukhopadhyay, will be launched at MusicWorld, Park Street, 4.30 pm.
