Truckers killed in accident
Three truck drivers were killed on NH 44, between Kalain and Gumrah villages under Kathigorah block on Sunday night.
he dead were identified as Bandhan Rabidas Bablu Uddin and Anowar Uddin.
Robbery
In a daring daylight robbery on Monday, miscreants killed Manki Neog, an elderly woman, and looted cash and valuables from her Nandanpur residence near Ajanta bypass in Jorhat.
Kuki camp
A joint team of Karbi Anglong police and commandos, along with the Dimapur administration, dismantled a camp of the Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA) operating from a rented house and arrested four KRA cadres from the Gulaibasti area of Dimapur on Monday.
Revenue
The transport departments in Bongaigaon and the newly-created Chirang district have collected revenue over Rs 2.44 crore for the financial year 2005-06.
