Summer sports fun

A 10-day coaching camp was held in school recently to train students in various sporting disciplines. Not only were we taught the basics of cricket, there was also a lot of volleyball, football, basketball and badminton training for all of us.

The sports camp started in the school itself on May 13 and we had a gala time getting trained in the nitty-gritty of various sports. As a part of our summer camp series, this sports workshop gave all students a great opportunity to receive some hands-on training from experts in the respective sports.

Celebration

It was a proud moment for us when we celebrated our school?s founder?s day on May 5, with a programme that was different. Ever since our school started four years back, authorities have ensured that they take it to greater heights. Today, we are around 1,100 students and our institution has certainly made a mark in every field. The day gave us a chance to celebrate our achievements in the past four years.

Green talk

An environmental workshop was held on the Kerala Public School premises recently. About 30 children participated in the week-long workshop. A group of students braved the scorching heat to participate in a cleanliness drive. We were divided into four groups on the first day of the workshop. We started a herbal garden in the school and conducted surveys for disposing food, water and papar in an eco-friendly manner.
