SUBJECT: Admission open to the two-year full-time postgraduate diploma in textile management (PGDTM), the one-year full-time postgraduate diploma in apparel management (PGDAM) and the one-year full-time postgraduate diploma in home textile management (PDHTM).

ELIGIBILITY: A degree in textile technology or engineering or other engineering disciplines or equivalent or bachelors degree in textile related subject offered by university or recognised institutions or three-year degree in any discipline with two years of work experience in the field of textiles. For PDHTM, a diploma in textile technology or engineering or equivalent is also eligible.

PARTICULARS: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA or the written test conducted by the institute followed by group discussion and interview. For PGDAM and PDHTM, the students will be selected on the basis of a written test, GD and interview conducted by the institute. Reservations are applicable as per Government of India rules. Application form can be obtained in person by paying Rs 500 (Rs 300 for SC/ST) or through post by sending a demand draft for Rs 550 (Rs 350 for SC/ST) in favour of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Textile Management payable at Coimbatore to 1483, Avanashi Road, Peelamedu, Coimbatore 641004. SUBJECT: An entrance test to be conducted by Delhi University on June 25 and July 2, 2006, for admission to the three-year LLB course or the two/three-year LLM course respectively.

ELIGIBILITY: For LLB course: Any graduate/ postgraduate degree with 50 per cent marks [45 per cent for physically handicapped (PH)/children/ widows/ wives of the officers and men of the armed forces including paramilitary personnel killed/ disabled in action or those who died/ were disabled in duty (CW-AF), pass marks for SC/ST] from any recognised university; For LLM course: LLB degree (three-year/ five-year course) with 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ST/PH/CW-AF). Candidates appearing/ awaiting results of the qualifying degree examination are eligible to appear for the LLB/LLM entrance test but no candidate shall be admitted unless he/she secures the minimum marks prescribed as above at the time of admission.

PARTICULARS: Prospectus and application forms can be obtained by paying Rs 100 in cash at the admission form counter of Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Maurice Nagar, Delhi 700007 (between 10 am to 1 pm) or at Law Centre I, Faculty of Law, Maurice Nagar, Delhi 700007 from 5 pm to 7 pm. The duly filled in application must be submitted between 10 am and 1 pm on working days or may be sent by registered post to Convener, Admission Committee Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi 110007, so as to reach latest by 5 pm on June 9, 2006. The prospectus may be obtained by post till May 31, 2006, by sending a bank draft for Rs 150 in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at Delhi, to Admission Committee, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi 110007 or may be downloaded from www.du.ac.in and may be deposited along with an additional Rs 100 in lieu of cost of the prospectus and form.
