Hillary: Music buff
|
New York, May 22 (AP): Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has joined the iPod generation.
Motown tunes, classical music and the Rolling Stones are all on the playlist on Clintons iPod player, she told the New York Post. Ive got everything ? a total smorgasbord, the 58-year-old senator said.
Songs from Clintons youth figure heavily in the selection of about 1,000 songs, said Clinton, who called herself a child of the 60s and 70s. The mix includes Aretha Franklins Respect, the Beatles Hey Jude and Take it to the Limit by The Eagles, she said.
Clinton, a possible presidential candidate in the 2008 US presidential elections, said her favourite time to listen to the music player is when shes following up on paperwork.
She received it as a birthday gift from her husband, former US President Bill Clinton.
