What: Launch of the summer collection by Kora at Kanishka’s, 2/1 Hindusthan Road.

Take a look: The summer collection was unveiled rather unusually, with an interactive drama titled Upon A Yarn.
This 30-minute play, conceptualised by The Creative Arts, took the audience through the journey of a woman ' her birth, adolescence, youth and old age.
Some of the artistes also showcased Kora creations during the play.
The fabric story of the latest Kora collection revolves around south cottons, kalamkaris, mangalgiris and mulmuls, with a wide range of colours such as blacks and reds combined elegantly with summer pastels, ochre and olive.
Lots of tunics, drawstring pants, capris and trousers are on offer.

What: Launch of elegant cutlery by FnS (Forks & Spoons) India.
Where: Gharana at The Oberoi Grand.
When: April 18.
Take a look: Conceptualised by designers from Italy, France and Scandinavia, the FnS cutlery collection features dinner spoons, forks and knives, serving spoons and teaspoons in 10 designs. This includes special-occasion cutlery like wedding sets and a cheerful line meant just for children.
Made from high quality stainless steel, the designs are a perfect blend of the traditional and the modern.
The cutlery is available in sets of 18, 24 and 26 pieces. For those needing less numbers, the range is also available in individual sets of six pieces each.
Pocket pinch: The price of the cutlery range varies between Rs 500 and Rs 6,000.
The six-piece sets are priced at Rs 95-plus.

The spread: For starters, there is Garden Salad and Channa Salad, Tomato Dhania Shorba and Rajma Galouti Kebab, Hara Bhara Subz Kebab and Gosht Chaap Kebab.
Move on to the main course with Dhania Fish, Mutton Chap, Murgh Reshmi Masala, Dal Makhni and Jeera Rice or the Mixed Pulao. Vegetarian main-course dishes include Paneer Kalapuri and Aloo Gobi.
The dessert counter has Gulab Jamun and other mithai.
The buffet menu for weekends include Cream of Tomato Soup, Garden Salad and Channa Salad, Steamed Rice, Lachha Paratha Tandoor Se or Tandoori Roti, Paneer Adraki, Dal Makhni, Dahi Ke Kebab, Murgh Dhania, Bhuna Masalader Gosht.
Pocket pinch: Rs 175 for weekdays and Rs 225 for weekends.
