Definitely not. as it is, it's extremely tough getting admission to one of the IITs or the IIMs. Reservations will only make it even more so for students from the unreserved category.

Absolutely not. if one has to have reservations in these prestigious institutes, they should be based on family income and not on caste or religion.

Unlike in the past, students from different castes are quite well represented in educational institutions today. Any kind of reservation based on caste is totally unnecessary now.
