London, April 17 (AFP): British pop star George Michael crashed into three cars while trying to park his SUV in London early yesterday, The Daily Mirror reported today.

Police confirmed that three parked cars had been damaged and that the four-wheel-drive had been found but said the driver had not yet been identified.

The tabloid quoted some anonymous witnesses as saying that they had recognised George Michael.

A representative of the singer had tried to contact the car owners later yesterday to reimburse them for the damage, the paper said.
