Makramah scored an upset victory
in the Adler Trophy at the Mumbai races on Saturday. Apprentice
Riyaz Shaikh partnered the Robert D’Mellow-trained
ward to victory.
The afternoon also witnessed a popular double by the ex-city trainer, Bharath Singh. His strongly-supported ward Nimble Feet claimed the 1,400m Littleover Trophy. The trainer’s Lone Trojan followed it up with an easy win in the Bhishma Plate.
