The contemporary dance troupe, Creation, is committed to experimenting with hitherto unused themes and styles and building a forum for talented young dancers, besides entertaining audiences in India and abroad. Its global outlook, coupled with its modern methods of dance, has helped give the group a universal appeal. Hosted by EZCC, this evening?s presentation, Natun Juger Chhando, represents the fruition of Creation?s efforts at exploring and creating innovative dance forms and techniques. Comprising several choreographic pieces, it features many popular items that have received appreciation from dance-lovers worldwide. They include Ganesh Vandana (ode to lord Ganesha), Dhan Katar Utsav (on the harvest festival), Holi, The Tempest (on the tsunami catastrophe), Shringar (on women?s empowerment), Alingan (on conservation of nature) and Rhythm of the Times. Choreography and direction: Arunava Dhar and Samir Bhattacharya.
