Sun Pharma shares

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has allotted 2,16,007 equity shares upon conversion of 3,500 foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs). The company?s board of directors has approved the allotment of shares of Rs 5 each at a premium of Rs 724.30 upon conversion of FCCBs of $1,000 dollars each, the company has informed the BSE.

PNB rates

Punjab National Bank has hiked interest rates on foreign currency non-resident bank deposits in dollar, pound and euro with effect from March 29. The interest rate on dollar deposits has been increased to 5.15 per cent (from 4.9 per cent) for 1-2 years. For pound deposits, the rates are 4.67 per cent for 1-2 years, and 4.71 per cent for 2-3 years.

Mysore issue

Mysore Cements has allotted 49,290 preference shares on private placement basis to Industrial Development Bank of India, the company informed the BSE. The company has also allotted 30 lakh equity shares to Maya Trade Links at a price of Rs 27.35 per share.

Keventer

Keventer Agro Ltd bought Eicher International?s food division. The food division is into the export of mango pulp, sesame seeds and bakery ingredients.

Hutch rate

Hutch has announced revised recharge coupons for its prepaid subscribers in Bengal telecom circle. The Rs 350 recharge coupons will allow the subscribers to make mobile-to-mobile calls at Re 0.90 per minute. Calls made to other phones will cost Rs 1.20 per minute.

Kamdhenu

Kamdhenu Ispat will come out with an IPO of 1.28 crore equity shares of Rs 10 each on April 3. The issue closes on April 8 and the price has been fixed at Rs 25.

Indo Gulf

Indo Gulf Fertilisers has received Allahabad High Court?s approval for its merger with Aditya Birla Nuvo, the company has informed the BSE.

Sun Microsystems has launched mobile.java.com, which offers mobile Java technology-based applications for purchase and download.

TVS printer

TVS Electronics has launched two high-speed dot matrix printers, MSP245 Champion XL and MSP345 Champion XL. The new models have an increased speed capability of 450 characters per second (cps) and 400 cps respectively.
