Islamabad, March 21: Pakistan today confirmed the presence of the H5N1 bird flu virus in two poultry farms in Abbottabad and Charsada towns of North West Frontier Province, reports our special correspondent.
The agriculture ministry in Islamabad said British experts have confirmed the presence of the virus in the farms.
On February 27, Pakistan had announced the presence of the H5 virus in two NWFP farms which have been were quarantined and all birds culled with the cooperation of poultry farmers.
