SUBJECT: Applications are invited for admission to the two-year master of veterinary public health (MVPH), and 10-month diploma in nursing education and administration (community health) [DNEA (CH)] courses.
Eligibility: For the MVPH course: MBBS or BVSc and AH degree of the University of Calcutta or any other university recognised by the University of Calcutta. Preference will be given to those candidates who are (i) deputed by the Central/ State Government or other recognised bodies, or (ii) having at least one year experience in the field of veterinary science. For the DNEA (CH) course: (i) certificate or diploma course in general nursing and midwifery from any of the state nursing council of India or its equivalent from any other countries and registered with respective nursing councils, (ii) minimum of two years? working experience after basic qualification in a reputed health facility in any clinical area of nursing or community nursing. Male nurses must have prescribed training by nursing council in any clinical area or nursing like TB, psychiatry, physiotherapy etc. in lieu of midwifery.
