Love either makes you or breaks you. The saying has been proved true in the case of Viveik Anand Oberoi. The Oberoi Jr who, even after numerous trips to the numerologists and astrologers (the change in spelling of his name and the added ‘Anand’ to it), has proved to be a complete failure in love and work too with all his recent releases bombing at the box-office.

But all these have not dampened his spirit to fight back in life. People close to the actor say that Viveik has taken this failure in the right spirit and has started concentrating more and more on his work now putting the Ash episode behind him.

Having already lost eight kilos and working out like a maniac, Viveik looks quite transformed in his lean and mean look. Even his costars are impressed with his singleminded focus and zeal that he is putting into the character of the films. And sure enough the effect of his changed look is telling on the fairer sex, if the glances he gets from them are any indication.

We don’t know whether the extra drooling is because of his newly acquired single status or the muscles he is showing off, but we do certainly know that Viveik is working hard to fit into his role of Casio in Vishal Bhardwaj’s adaptation of Othello called Omkara. And it seems Vishal is so impressed by Viveik’s ‘attitude and talent’ that he will be signing him for his next project as well.

Not surprising, since the industry acknowledges that he is the best talent to come out in recent times. Wish Ash would have thought the same way.
