Calcutta: Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee has pledged his body for “the advancement of medical sciences”.

The NGO Ganadarpan, which motivates people to donate their body after death, has got the rights to the chief minister’s. Sixty-two-year-old Bhattacharjee’s predecessor Jyoti Basu and his colleague Surjya Kanta Mishra have already promised their bodies to the NGO.
