Rebel?s body found
Police recovered the body of suspected NSCN (K) rebel Vikhoto Zao from near the Paramedical Bridge on the outskirts of Kohima on Thursday morning. He had been abducted on Wednesday.

Lt Gen. R.K. Chhabra on Wednesday took charge as General Officer Commanding of 4 Corps at Tezpur. He was received by Brig. Rameshwar Roy and Brig. D. Rajan at the Army helipad. Gen. Chhabra was commissioned in the Gorkha Rifles in December 1969.
