Bengal 4 in ZCA camp

Four players from Bengal were among the 22 selected for the East Zone camp of under-19 Zonal Cricket Academy, to be held in the city from April 15. Srivats Goswami, Amit Banerjee, Rohan Banerjee and Amit Das will represent Bengal.

Okoro arrives

East Bengal's Nigerian footballer Mike Okoro arrived in the city early in the morning from Poland. The Nigerian left for Poland late on January 29th on a personal errand.

According to sources, club officials are irked about Okoro's month-long stay in Poland, but are extremely unlikely to take any action against him.

Calcutta Port Trust defeated Burra Bazar Yubak Sabha (BBYS) 82-76 in a division one basketball league match on Wednesday.
