Jamshedpur, March 8: J.N. Kumar, father of the missing boy from Netaji Subhas Public School, has lodged an FIR alleging the school secretary and other functionaries to have either murdered the student or confined him in a secret place with an ulterior motive.
Those have been accused in the FIR include secretary Madan Mohan Singh, vice-principal Vinod Ray and the accountant.
According to the FIR, Kumar Rahul, roommate of the missing boy Anish Kumar, was allegedly murdered on January 29 night, and Anish might have known some of the hard facts as Rahul?s body was found hanging in their room itself.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Kumar, who is an ex-serviceman and employee of Tata Steel, said he remained silent for almost a week, depending on the assurance of the school management, but as he did not get any trace of his son, he had to swing into action.
He stated that he had already started approaching the police as well as some political party activists so that his son may be traced out at the earliest.
When contacted, officer-in-charge of MGM police station Narendra Paswan confirmed to have received the FIR from Kumar. ?I am going through the nitty-gritty of the complaint that I have received today. The case will be registered only after a preliminary investigation is made into the complaint,? he said.
Apart from lodging an FIR, the anxious father today called back his elder son Abhisek Kumar, who was also studying in the same school.
?I had to call back my son as I apprehend anything can happen to him in the school,? said Kumar.
A student of Class IX, Anish mysteriously disappeared from his school at Pokhari, about 25 km from here toward Ghatshila along the NH-33 on March 2.
The boy has reportedly fled the school in school uniform after attending the first few classes in the morning. However, no one claims to have seen the boy fleeing.
In the previous night, Anish and his three classmates were allegedly caught by securitymen while playing computer game in the computer section, and the guards had intimidated them of dire consequences.
Kumar said: ?The day we had been informed about Anish?s escape, we went to the school immediately where at first we were told by Ray that Anish and three other boys were caught while watching blue film on a computer previous night. But when we protested that Anish is not the kind of boy to do such nasty things, the school secretary quickly intervened and said it was not a blue film, rather it was computer game.?
Moreover, it is not just Abhisek, but one more student, Basant Deep, was also called back by his parents after Anish?s mysterious missing.
