Aizawl, March 7: The Former Underground Welfare Society, whose road blockade bid was foiled by the state government, claimed to have progre-ssed in their struggle to recla-im ?true Mizoram territory?.

With the approval of the Cachar district authorities, the Vairengte subdivision magistrate imposed Section 144 upto Lailapur (in Cachar district) and set up a Mizoram police checkgate at Lailapur, which has been agreed to by both sides as the official transit gate.
