Calcutta: Biswajit Bhattacharya replaced Jahar Das as Mohun Bagan coach on Sunday. Das, who was the head coach of Mohun Bagan-SAIL Academy in Durgapur, had taken over from Amal Dutta.

Bhattacharya will be in charge of the club till the end of the National League. The change of guard took place at a time when Mohun Bagan are struggling with five points from seven matches in the NFL.

Bhattacharya had resigned as Mohammedan Sporting coach after accusing the club officials of not letting him work freely.
