The Centre has constituted a high-level committee to look into the source of the bird flu outbreak and suggest a strategy for reclaiming disease-free status for India.

Animal husbandry commissioner S.K. Bandopadhyay and Indian Council of Medical Research director-general N.K. Ganguly will be the key members of the committee.
