| Exports up 22% in Jan New Delhi, Feb. 14: India's exports rose by 21.46 per cent in January to $8.45 billion. However, trade deficit has widened to $33.82 billion so far this year despite a slower 10.69 per cent growth in imports. Cumulative exports between April and January have risen by 18.8 per cent to $74.978 billion against $63.076 billion a year ago, according to the data released today. Trade deficit has shot up by 48 per cent to $33.82 billion during the period compared with $22.82 billion last year.
