Marandi: Mum on meet
|
Giridih/Ranchi, Feb. 13: The kisan morcha of the state BJP might have approved disciplinary actions against the 11 defiant cadres and party heavyweights might hold the action ?unjustified?, but for BJP national vice-president Babulal Marandi Lord Krishna has said it all.
Yadunath Pandey, the state unit BJP chief, stirred a hornet?s nest two days ago, when he announced the expulsion of 11 members for their anti-party activities during the last Assembly elections.
The kisan morcha has demanded that other recommendations of the party?s discipline committee should be executed within two days, but senior leaders are thinking of approaching the party high command with their complaints.
Karia Munda criticised both Yadunath Pandey and Arjun Munda, while Saryu Rai appealed to party members to approach the high command with their complaints.
?State executive committee cannot be called without prior notice to the members. No senior leader was present at Saturday?s meeting. I, too, have seen the enquiry proceedings against the expelled members. No action should have been taken against them without the consent of the state executive members,? said Karia Munda.
But Marandi resorted certain lines from the Bhagvat Gita: ?What happened is for the good, what is happening is also for the good and what will happen will also be for the good.?
The focus has now shifted to the February 15 meeting, in which Giridih, Koderma and Hazaribagh?s party cadres and Marandi loyalists will gather at Kodaibank ? Marandi?s native village ? to discuss the forthcoming strategy.
