It’s not in the spirit of the season to criticise a girl from our own town, but it feels bad, na, when you have others making fun of her dress sense. Rimii was seen in an afternoon beach party wearing a grey top with heavy furred neckline, a pair of thick silver anklets that jangled and nails painted blood red. So can you blame them for saying, Yuch or Eeesh!' What’s with you, beach girl'

| Soha Ali Khan |
Gimme red! You would think pristine white, smoochy pink, or dreamy blue would be Soha Ali Khan’s colour. But she seems to have developed a thing for blazing red. It’s okay, we guess, to put it on your nails,or have it on your fabric, your car or since she’s kinda from Calcutta, on your flag. But to have it on the walls! Soha has her living room painted all red. Not for nothing, though. She is deep into Feng Shui and the colour pepping up her living space is to bring the glow back in her life and career. So, Bollywood, watch out! Soha is all set to paint the town red ' and that’s the writing on the wall.

| Bipasha Basu |
So on and so forth While we are still on the Bong babes and Bips, hear about her latest crush. After Abhishek, Salman, etc...etc... it’s Kay Kay Menon who costars in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Corporate. Well, she is so much ‘in love’ with him that she rattles off involuntarily to John as to how great this man is. So she goes “...He is gentle, soft-spoken, gracious, intelligent, knows about things in life, a tremendous actor....” and so on and so forth. Now what does the poor boyfriend do' Scream' No, he joins in the eulogy... “I think he is really hot...what a man...” and so on and so forth. Well, one good way of shutting up his girl' Good boy, Johnny. SPOTLIGHT

| Rajeev Khandelwal |
Style kahiin to hoga... The most talked-about TV trip in recent times was the one at the MTV LYCRA Style Awards where small-screen superstar Rajeev Khandelwal was nominated for the award for the most stylish man on television. Apparently the footage from Rajeev’s popular soap, Kahiin To Hoga, required to be flashed to announce Rajeev’s nomination was denied to the organisers by both Star and Balaji Telefilms. Some months ago, Rajeev had walked out of Kahiin To Hoga as he didn’t like the way the script was heading. The MTV organisers had to make do with a clip from Rajeev’s new serial, Time Bomb. Though both Star and Balaji deny the denial (of the critical footage) Rajeev is more forthright. “I don’t know why or how. But the footage from Kahiin To Hoga was not available to the organisers of the MTV Style awards. The fact that I still won the award hands down proves that such things don’t make a difference to how people see me...I’ve made no effort to dress stylishly. Most of the time I casually toss on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Style, I guess, is about the way you feel, not just the way you dress.” Rajeev has also been voted one of the most eligible men by a women’s magazine. “It’s very flattering to be featured alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Irfan Pathan. I guess I must be doing something right in spite of the constant hammering I get in the press'. The honour that has made me the happiest is the ‘Hero No.1’ on the Disney Channel. It proves that I’m connecting with kids. That’s the audience I really want on my side.” ' SKJ |
